Entitled "Global Homelands?": Goan Migration and the Transnational Diasporas, a presentation on the history of Goan (India) migration. Initially presented at the Ethnic and Pluralism Studies Graduate Research Conference at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto; and later presented at the American Sociological Association in New York, USA (January 31st, 2013)
The presentation is divided into three primary components: 1) A History of Goa (post-16th century), 2) Waves of Migration and 3) the Goan community in Toronto.
